Gorgeous shining hair? Never so easy! And it’s not just a matter of choosing the right products but also of those small, sometimes daily gestures that help keep you healthy and fit.
- Watch out for washing
Many have a habit of washing their hair every day. However, too many washes cause excessive sebum production, so they will get dirty more quickly instead of having clean hair. It is better to wash them every three days, choosing the right shampoo that respects the scalp’s pH. Also not to be underestimated are some gestures such as letting the shampoo rest for a few seconds, avoid using it, use the conditioner, especially on the driest hair. Always finish cleansing with a cold jet and, to keep the hair shiny, rinse it with cold water and vinegar, White or lemon.
- The hairdryer + brush combo
It is known that letting them air dry is best but not always feasible. When using the hair dryer, keep in mind to use the diffuser to spread the heat over the entire hair and not over a specific area. Another trick not to be underestimated is first to wrap the hair in a towel to absorb excess water and to use natural brushes and brush them gently, especially when the hair is still wet, so as not to break the lengths.
- The trim
And it is not a question of changing your look every time, on the contrary, but of regular trimming. Because? Chopping them frequently helps them grow faster and stronger and lusher. So now and then, it takes a tune to the cut 😉
- Watch out for the plate!
Because? They damage the hair cuticles, which must not be exposed to a temperature above 180 °. And the movement itself tends to tear the lengths, so how do you do it? First, use the plate on dry hair to avoid an excessive thermal shock.
- The classic healthy lifestyle
If good habits are followed, the hair also thanks. Especially since hair is susceptible to stress, it gets thinner, becomes more brittle, and falls out. Or, vice versa, they start producing a lot more sebum and dandruff. So anything that helps you relax can only be good for your hair. Likewise, a balanced diet and the intake of a lot of water (the famous 2 liters per day) help keep the hair hydrated and strengthen it.
- The extra detail, the masks
They do not replace the conditioner. On the contrary, they are the extra pampering to do once a week. They are especially ideal in summer when the hair is subjected to the stress of the sun, salt, chlorine, sweat, and, in addition to deep cleansing, they help maintain a high level of hydration and, therefore, softness to the touch of the hair.
