Hair Updates: 9 months natural

October 7, 2009 @ adminNo Comments

Here are glorious pictures of my Afro growth, charted at 9 months.
So, I’ve come a long way from the start of my new natural journey. I’ve always had hair that grew like weeds but, I’ve struggled with keeping it on my head.

I thought going natural would present the same problems, so I committed myself to one single solution: I did absolutely nothing to my hair.

Instead of struggling to make perfect braid-outs, blow-outs and other overwrought styles, I kept it twisted and braided in extensions. During that period I educated myself on natural hair practices, stocked up on products and revamped my routine. Less stress, less mess.
