If you've been reading Hairs My Story for a while, then you would know that my most prized item of all time is Oscar Blandi Crema shampoo and conditioner. It is, literally, the most moisturizing and replenishing shampoo and conditioner duo I've used to date and it has allowed me to stretch my relaxer my first summer of proper haircare practices without problems.
My hair always had this fresh and clean scent, and it had no problems de-tangling my hair. It never dried my hair out, no matter how much lather I got from it. My hair was never hard, dry or crunchy. My deep conditioners and treatments absorbed better after I used this shampoo and conditioner set.
I'm struggling without this shampoo because I cannot find anything that works as well. I want to use out the shampoos I have here and then vow to never purchase another brand again.
Clearly, I love Oscar Blandi.
So, when my Sephora Product-Junkieism paid off last week with free samples of the Oscar Blandi shampoos, well... you should have seen the excitement in my face!
Its like Christmas in July.
Or, finding a store that gives away free Chupa-Chup lollipops all day long.
My eyes dilated at the sheer delight of wash day.
I fantasized about it all week long.
Wash day... wash day....wash day!
So, what were the results after the actual moment?
The same I got with the Crema Shampoo: no matter how much I used I didn't have to worry about dry hair. My hair felt clean and smelled very good (a tinge of exotic jasmine flower, perhaps?).
This is what I love about this brand: A twenty dollar bottle of shampoo lasted for several months because you don't need much to make your hair look refreshed. I also love the shape of the bottle, the sm
all hole in the cap that doesn't allow the entire contents spill over into my hand, and the thick consistency of the shampoo and conditioner.
With these three attributes alone, I don't have to worry about using too much about spending hundreds of dollars in a year on hair cleansers. Basically, Oscar's stuff last forever!
I'm not exactly sure if Di Jasmine Smoothing Shampoo made my hair any "smoother" as the label promised. I just got a touch-up so its pretty hard to tell if my hair looks any more "sleek" than it did last week. I did notice that my hair looked very dark and yes! It does look shinier than it did the previous week.
All in all, I would DEFINITELY give this shampoo a two-thumps "yup!" You can find Oscar Blandi Shampoo di Jasmine Smoothing Shampoo at Sephora or HSN.com.
